While I was looking for info. about how many kittens an unspayed female cat can have in her lifetime,

I like the statement "The nose pad of a cat is ridged in a pattern that is unique, just like the fingerprint of a human." Now I can figure out who is leaving the noseprints on the windows.
How well do you think they would put up with my taking their noseprints for comparison?

Thanks for posting that - some really interesting facts on there. I was particularly interested in the heartbeat one - the fact that a cat's heartbeat is twice as fast as a humans - as I was watching my kitten today when he was asleep and noted his chest was rising and falling really quickly! re the largest breed - I would have thought norweigian forest cats (or main coons) were larger than ragdolls?

The thing about the cats reading moods in so true w/me!
Whenever Im nervous about something, Layla starts running around crazily, or when Im sad and depressed,she follows me everywhere for cuddles.
