Breakthrough

Tolly will be two in July, he got on my lap today and sat there for half an hour This is the very first time he has sat on me, He is usually all over my husband like a rash. I can't tell you how pleased I am

I think it's really lovely when they climb up on you like that (except for when you are holding a hot cup of tea or something ). Shows us just how much they love us humans! Bravo to you and Tolly!

Max isn't what you'd call a lap cat, far from it, but twice in the last fortnight or so he's jumped up on to my lap, started purring & fallen asleep. The only problem being on both occasions it's been when I'm about to leave for work, I think he's just trying to keep me at home!

When I was in college I almost missed a class because Emily was sitting peacefully on my lap and that doesn't happen too often!

Aw, that must have made you melt. Trout isn't very cuddly with me and when she does cuddle with me, I almost don't want to breathe because I don't want to distract her and make her move

Petunia does the same thing in that she isnt all that cuddly with me as Barkley is but when she is I relish it because I dont get it very often but I love when she is affectionate with me I wonder if that is a Torti trait
