Boots seems to want fat cat with her. Does that sound normal. This is got to be the weirdest thing I have ever saw. She is cleaning baby right now with motherly advice from fat cat..lol. These two just amaze me. they are both currled up on couch with baby in middle. Its like boots is doin the feeding but fat cat keeping baby warm and cleaning.

What happened to Moe's babies? Are they doing ok? And you said FatCat's kittens died...what happened to them? It is very hard for us to help you figure out a solution without knowing all the facts.

And the fourth pregnant cat...where is she?

I just wonder if by FatCat taking over Boots kitty, she thinks she doesn't need to do anything. My other concern is will the dog be able to get to the last kitten?

Sounds like your home has been hit by so many tragedies these past weeks, my heart really goes out to you and your kids, and the poor kitties. I can't imagine losing 9 kittens so quickly (is it 9?!?)

luvmyhorse....it really is confusing when there are so many cats that you have involved. It is TRULY important to have the mom's spayed who have had their litters die. It is beneficial to their health and they really do not need another litter. If the issue is finding a low cost clinic, below is a list for your state:

No doggy can't get to her she is high in closet on top of some boxes. He did get the last two litters. And as far as Sadie she must have been reading about skittles. She is so big but still no signs of labor she just lays around on the floor. She not eating as much and drinking alot of water so maybe this is a sign. My mom bringing me some milk and bottle when she comes over. Boots wouldn't stay with baby at all last night. Getting her to nurse little this morning. I gonna do everything I can to save this baby if that means kicking hubby and his dog out...LOl J/K dog maybe...I will take pic of baby and get it on site. Thank you everyone for all your help. Don't know where I would be without this site.

Ok...I know that Boots had a litter and only 1 is still alive (and she isn't feeding it) and there is another cat that had a litter and lost it....now there is a third cat, Sadie that is pregnant also. These cats are not allowed back outdoors now are they?? I would like to see some confirmation from you that you intend to have these mother cats fixed....especially the ones that have already given birth and have lost their litters. You seem to keep discussing other issues, but it will be key to avoid more kitten loss.

I think that's sweet how the other cat is helping take care of the other mother... they're so smart.

How are the kittens now? Feel free to ask more questions if you have any...
and don't forget to post a pic of her.
We love pics!

Try a syringe, like you use to measure and give liquid medications to a child. Gently drip the kitten formula (warm like a baby bottle) into the kitten's mouth.
