Good job skittles, sounds like everybody did as well as possible! I was gone all weekend so I didn't read the threads till this a.m. Are any of the babies similar looking to mom? Sounds like a lot of them are tabby coats! Sorry to hear about the ones that didn't make it. I wonder why some kittens in a large litter do well and the others don't. Skittles seems like a wonderful momma, and I certainely hope every skitlet is just like her!

Where did you used to live in CA? I live in Modesto and my Vet (he does have other vets in office BUT!!!!!) is off for a week. My Panther has diarrhea and I now have to use another vet!

The ER vet is $81.00 just to walk in the door!

Where do you live now? Wish MY vet was as good as yours!

I have to laugh about how in love you are with those kittens!!! I know exactly how you feel and what's worse is that it gets worse! You know how you can't just pick one of your children? Well, it gets that way with the kittens too. My husband picked out the one he thought was the "ugliest" and I decided to keep her because I felt she was the "undercat". Now she is the most beautiful and everyone wants her!

But I am laughing too because in a few short weeks after you are out of the cast you will be right back into dodging 7 kittens! I am down to 2 and it's like having 10! The other night one came through the cat door from the laundry room and I was heading into the laundry room and she was like a little football! Not to worry, no injuries but boy can they trip you up!
Enjoy the quiet times while you can!

I live in Rochester NY in a 2 bedroom apartment.
I missed everything. I am so glad that she had those babies, and that she had them so fast. I thought she would go fast, she was just getting ready all that time.
She knew what she was doing, we were the ones that were having a fit.

Jenny, Skittles is such a lucky cat to have you for her Mommy you take such good care of her. You could be a breeder the way you care for your baby. This was your first litter, you are an amazing woman, and a loving pet owner.

It is awful to loose any kittens to still birth, and I join everyone else to say I am sorry for your loss. I do rejoice with you over the birth of those fat healthy 7 kittens that you do have to love. I love the pictures, the thing I love the most about them is the contented look on Skittles face, she looks like she loves being a mother. Congratulations to both of you.

You have to put it on a Web server first. Photobucket is one thing that a lot of people use to upload, and it's free.
