awwww YAY So happy she FINALLY had them! Its WONDERFUL!

I'm so glad to hear that Skittles is performing her motherly duties so naturally, and so wonderfully! That makes your role in this like 4,000 times easier, Jenny!!!!

Anyway, they look adorable (pics were a little hard to make out, but I understand with the camera/flash situation, and how hard it can be to get pictures this early), and again, congratulations!!!

So glad to hear you got some supper last night...and flowers too!!! What a sweet family you have!!!

Jenny I am so happy for you and Skittles! Congratulations!!! I am sorry for the loss of the babies that didnt make it.... Skittles looks to be such a good mother (I'm sure she had a wonderful example "of3") and you can finally get some rest! The pics of the babies are JUST ADORABLE! I only wish I was closer to give 1 a furrever home with LuckyGirl!

6am update

Ok she is a awesome mom but there was a #13 sometime last night and it was like the others real real tiny... I called the vet(frantic) and he said it was fine I have 7 kittens who obviously are super healthy...H said Skittles knew it that was why she did not care for them... She cleaned them up but places them in a corner.. Doesn't look like the last one took breath either... I promised to get her fixed when her babies are done nursing so she did not have to do this again and she purred loud at me So she wants her tubes tide She also ate 6 oz of wet food and cups of dry and almost all her water LOL.... This was from 10pm last night to 5am.... I passed out cold... All babies are doing great.. I have more pictures... I have to put it on nightscense so it is red light so forgive it being blurry please. She is doing so good at being a mommy.... I changed it the bedding this morning... I heated the other box with the heating pad places kitten in it and her made the bottom of closet all up again with the other pad and material and she waited when done I tapped bed and said ok mommy, she goes meow and grabbed a kitty and got in laid down meow at me so I put the rest in she let me she ever licked my hand while I was petting them and she wallowed all over my hand and arm like she was in love with it... Very affectionate ..... So I am sure the count is 13 with 7 living... I am sure she has to be done....All kittens nurse well and I never hear crys. I think she even counts them LOL...

Should I up more food...They nurse non stop and they are all well over 4oz 1 is 5oz.... They look so big to me.. I do see there faces today... Lots of white markings. The baby that had the head stuck I can tell His nose is squished in and bruised.... But he is a heavy monsater... Yes I have all boys 1 girl for sure the other am not to sure... I should say I am not sure on all but 1 LOL...I will wait 1 week first and then weigh them again unless something is going on... SO far I do not see a runt all look great... Actually they are double the size of the 6 that we barried... My mom weight #9 that had the hole in mouth that was almost 3oz. others where smaller then that. #9 was the biggest... They are in a better place now and that is ok with Skittles..She is just happy to have the 7 and rest LOL...

Just wanted to add my congratulations to Skittles and the new grandma. Sounds like she did a great job! Sorry for the losses of the little ones.

Its good that things are going so well keep us updated!

Oh they are SO cute! They look so big already...I dont know if it is the angle of the pic or what, but they are very good size babies. Skittles you are amazing!

Not just you they are big kittens all over 4.3 to 5oz. I hope being big isnt a problem. They are eating so well right now. Skittles must have massive milk because I can hear them nurse... Cool to know at least they are eating LOl... boy they are chubby bellys...

I can see the white- it's very faint, kind of "wispy", if that makes sense. The kittens are laying like this: one toward bottom left corner, one diagonally above it to the right, another diagonally up to the right, and then diagonally down to the right as you look across the screen. I don't have PhotoShop, or I'd help you with circling. Hope the description helps.

More importantly, congratulations to Skittles & Jenny! What a wonderfully informative birthing thread- thanks for sharing! I'm glad to hear mom & babies are doing well this morning.
