Hello everyone, i've been in hibernation mode lol but i've been productive. Before my mother became ill with the brain tumor we had huge plans for my yard. My fiance and I built a house and moved in last october so my mom and i have everything planned out for the spring. Unfortuatly she passed on April 25th, but i've kept our "visions" alive.
My back porch is my new serenity. I bought a lovely water fountain, candles, tiki torches lamps etc... And just to let you know i've never planted anything in my life but this is what i've done so far...
White Meadow Phlox (attracts butterflies)
Pink Phlox Paniculata (attacts hummingbirds)
A dark lavender vein trailing petunia (attacts hummingbirds)
Yellow rose bush
Hybrid tea rose (which symbols peace)
Purple Perilla with"superbells red" calibrachoa trailing around it.
Morning Glorys and 4'oclock
Purple crape myrtle tree
So as you see i've been so busy but i love to sit back and look at all the beauty in my yard. I have become to learn that this is very theraputic for me. I also have two bird feeders (which i've become very into birds) and a bird house which have already been the home of some baby blue birds!
