Good morning everyone!!

Hope my friends to the South are having a great Memorial long weekend.

I don't have too much planned for today. Jeff has gone golfing with his friends, and since I'm still pretty new here I don't have any of my own friends.....so it looks like I might be doing a solo trip to the mall.

Good Morning

We are hoping to gt some yardwork done today, but it's quite foggy right now, and a few showers are expected this morning. I need to pick up a few gifts today. One of Aaron's friends may stop by later. That's about it around here!

Its always a bit difficult when you move to a new area. When we moved it was a new job, new house and no friends or family

But it doesn't take long to meet new people and tho' i miss having my family near by i dont regret it. I am sure things will be better soon.

Collected my rowing machine this morning, it all assembled now and ready to go

I will have my first practice tonight, after Pete has gone to work

Its raining again so we are not doing much today. Jaz has sicked up on the carpet, Jake is curled up in his bed, Izzy is on Petes lap who is reading a photography magazine, and me i am on TCS

I'm off to work in a few minutes and after that I'm off to get my friends house ready for her daughters graduation party tomorrow.

Good morning to all. I have been up about 30 minutes, dunno whats wrong with me-just cant sleep! Had a hard time falling asleep last night, and my daughters sleeping in, you would think I would be snoozing! But nope-just cant sleep....

Anyhoo-hope everyones day is great! We dont have too much planned around here, just a typical Saturday.

If I would have known that you could have come over to my place and help me paint! Yes, the renovations continue at my place. We have restructured the upstairs of our house to remove the walls between the two small bedrooms. We opened up the area to have a loft type feel. We also exposed the chimney brick as well to make it feel rustic.

Rob has been plastering and sanding his fingers to the bone over the last while and we can finally paint! We have also moved the bedroom and computer furniture downstairs so they wouldn't be affected by the dust. Can't wait until I have a functioning bedroom again.

Right now I'm waiting for Rob to return and the painting begins. Woohoo...been waiting for this for the last month.

Good morning!

I slept in this morning. Now I'm gonna go take a shower and get to work on my homework. I have to write a 150-200 word composition in Spanish. I'll probably end up having to look up every second word in the dictionary and check the grammar around 10 times. And it'll probably still be full of mistakes.

Learning a new language is hard!
Too bad I don't have Spanish spell check on my word processor.

Anyways, I'll get started on that soon so that I can take some time off this afternoon. Today is supposed to be a beautiful summer day and I want to spend some time outside.

I'm off to Petsmart to buy Spanky a harness and leash. He barrelled his way out the back door last week and decided that he really likes outside. A few days later he tore thru a window screen to let himself back outside. He wanders the house and meowls most of the time since then.

I can't let him out by himself - he has no fear at all when he is there and even with a fenced yard, there are too many wandering dogs in the neighborhood. So I will give into his demands, train him on a harness and give him some daily outdoor time. An enclosed cat run won't do it - my 33x16 sun porch is basically that and it isn't good enough for him.

Also buying stronger screening materials and need to replace all the old screens in the house. I can't open the windows to the porch until Iget this done. Fun job, eh?

I got less than 3 hrs of sleep last night, I am becoming an insomniac for no reason whatsoever, it is irritating. It wouldn't be so bad if I weren't working a 12 hr shift, yuck. 2 hrs down, 10 to go, Lol. And tonight is a friend's birthday get together. I wish I were home napping with my furball. Hope every one's day goes beautifully and you all are not as discombobulated as me!

Good morning!

We are not up to anything very exciting today. I brought Brody to Petsmart this morning to have his nails clipped and his ears cleaned. Those are the 2 things he fights me so hard on, so I figured it was worth it to pay them to do it

We just got back and I am having a sandwich for lunch. I think I might go lay out by the pool for a few hours, and then I need to work on my med. term. class. Tonight I need to watch the episode of "Big Love" that I missed last week so I will be ready for the new episode tomorrow night. Then I might have a few Midori Sours to celebrate little Serenity's birthday!
