i recently adopted a 2 month old tabby. however i dont think shes eating enough, she weighs in at 2.1 lbs. when i got her they gave me a bag of science diet dry food which she doesnt seam to care much about, she crunches on it every now and then but i would say a table spoon a day if that. ive tried a few types of wet food and she ate half a can of some turkey purina or something like that but never more than a bite or too of anything else i have offered yet. doesnt even like those treat things, just sniffs it then drinks some water and leaves. i was thinking maybe its just stressing of adapting to a new home and the spaying, but she seams very happy and is extreamly playful and gets into everything. shes going to the vet on tuesday for a check up and im going to mention the food as well, but any tips until then? thanks

i asked the vet the same thing this week. clara is the same age and i've been feeding her whiskas kitten pouches of wet food, occasionally with some purina dry food mixed in. The packet reccommends three a day but she never ever finishes them. The vet said it will take her a while to get used to her new home and the fact that she is still using her litter tray frequently shows that she's ok. She's been home for a week and i've noticed her appetite has picked up a lot in the last 24 hours.
