ruby, a 1yr old dsh, has a cardboard/paper fetish.
she chews her cardboard scratch box, and literally spits the pieces out. i have the vacuum her area daily (which is no big deal). i'm just wondering if this is harmful, and if it's a result of boredom?
she doesn't actually eat what she chews (well, once in a while she eats a tiny piece). but her tastes run from her cardboard scratch box to paper bags to magazines and books to mail left on the kitchen table
.
i have plenty of toys, a tall kitty condo, a short kitty tree with toys hanging off of it, plus her buddy roxy is always willing to chase/be chased around the house.
any insight? thanks!
