Sunday's DT

I didn't see a daily thread for today so I thought I'd start it. I had to work this weekend and I have to work tomorrow...after that I have six whole days of vacation YIPEE!!! And I'm going to enjoy every single minute of it too!

Lorie--I'm at work too. I gave my regular guy the day off today because HE'S GRADUATING FROM COLLEGE TODAY! Yee-haw! I didn't think we were going to get him through this last semester. I swear I feel like I have a kid graduating--except I didn't get to go to the ceremony, because I'm at work. I have to work tomorrow, then I'm off the rest of the week.

Well I have been very busy today. Laundrey, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning the car and a few other misc chores. Church and family time. and now I am sitting here playing catch up on TCS. I still have one load of laundrey in the dryer and after that I think I am going to have a nice bubble bath and soak in the tub. I went to see my niece yesterday - she is 1 week old today. She is a cutie, but I think her daddy is going to spoil her. He hovers alot. I spent alot of time watching the Sick Kids Hospital Miracle Telethon this weekend. Toronto has one of the top children's hospitals in the world - in the top 3. People come from all over the world to have their children cared for and doctors also come from all over the world. They told some amazing stories of some very special children. Did you know that unlike adults, children under 1 year of age can recieve an organ donation without having to be the same blood type as the donor? That was discovered at Sick Kids. 6 years ago 60% of all children waiting for a heart transplant died - it is now down to 7%. They do amazing work. In about 24 hours they have raised approximately 6 million dollars. Check them out at www.sickkids.ca

Adymarie, Daddys always spoil baby girls. They always seem to hope for boys, but it's the girls who can do no wrong. Baby girls are born knowing how to wrap daddys around their little fingers.
I had a very uneventful day. I checked out the CatSite, but most people are out on Sundays. I'm hoping to soon get some help outside so that I can plant a few flowers. Isn't it great to have warm weather?
