There could be a software issue. What kind of camera is it? Did it come with any software to install on the 'puter? Did you install the software? Is the camera turned on [I know, stupid question, but hey, I had to ask]? What kind of cable? UBS2? check.
On mine, I have to plug the cable into the camera, then I'll turn on the camera. Now, I export to my Mac, so iPhoto automatically starts when the camera is plugged in and on. And I'd test the set up on the PC, but it's at a friend's house getting worked on until tomorrow.

Ok-thank you! I did that and it was working and now its just stuck and wont finish transfering the pics. Im not sure whats going on.
