We had a big thunderstorm blow through and the power's been out for about an hour now. Looks like the worst of it's over. I was ready to head to the basement with the kitties if there had been any warnings.

Fortunately I still plenty of battery power left on the laptop. So, I get to do one of my favorite things - hang out on TCS!

You've got the main thing covered - access to TCS!
Enjoy the lightening show if you get any.

You got the brunt of the storm Eileen.......I got home from work at 5:15 and just got the lawn mowed when it started raining. The sky was black, but no real big thunder storm...........now it's just a steady rain, which we do need......at least you have TCS!!

Well thank goodness you still have TCS!

Your smart for taking precautions and preparing to head to the basement with the kitties!

Stay safe!

Loving my beautiful baby girl
It's great that you can be here as you watch over your little ones during the power outage. Sure hope they have it fixed soon for you. In the meantime, light a candle and enjoy the peace!

Thanks for keeping me company during the power outtage!

It was a kind of strange night, but actually very peaceful after the second wave of storms rolled through. I heard on the radio that more than 100,000 people were left with out power. Fortunately no major injuries or property damage though. It's around 6:15 here. I just got up, fed the kitties and was standing in the kitchen wondering where I could get coffee, when the power came back on - just in time to get ready for work!

I was pretty scared last night, that sky looked quite ominous
I kept going outside to look at the sky and at one point it looked like some clouds were moving in one direction, while others were going the opposite
I live in a trailer, which as many of you might now, are bullseyes for tornados, and there's no where to go in them either, all I kept thinking was what am I going to do with 4 cats, 2 dogs and rats?? There was a tornado that supposedly touched down in Wooster, about 45 mins south of me, but I don't think it lasted very long. I love storms, but not when there's tornado watches attached!!

I don't blame you for being scared. Glad you and the menagerie are safe!
