my friend's cat had kittens

I begged her to get her spayed and she didn't listen so four new babies in the world when there are so many now. She told me I could have one but dad insists no other cats. So I can't or I would take two of them in. Because she is not responsible enough for them. People drive me crazy sometimes. Why have pets that aren't fixed. It is one of the easiest things to do to help control the overpopulation of pets.

I completely agree with you: that was wrong of her. I admit, my cats each had a litter of kittens... Not on purpose, though. We just didn't get them spayed, because I wasn't really aware at the time of what it did to the population - otherwise, I would have taken in a cat from a shelter or something, if I could have. We did, however, have a foster litter that had been found on the side of the road. My cat who was still nursing her litter took them in and mothered them And now the are spayed, both of them, and I try to spread the word. I guess my point is, that if you didn't explain why she should spay her cat, then she probably thought having cute kitties would be fun and what's the harm? That's what we thought, at first, because well yes we HAD heard the message spay/neuter but were kind of ignorant because we didn't know what it did to other cats. So I guess my point is, yes that was wrong of her, but she just may not be aware as you are.

Aww-at least you would be willing to take one or two of them Too bad your dad wont let ya have just *one*! I have a friend that is the same way, only hers was a dog! She let her have like 3 litters before she just FINALLY got her spayed(like 2 weeks ago) I always would tell her to get her fixed, and she would put it off and then next thing ya know, Dusty was preggo again! I just dont understand ppl sometimes....unless its a $$$ problem, than maybe ya shouldnt have the animal in the first place.

I offered to help her pay to get her cat fixed and she said well it has to wait. And she didn't like it when I told her that she needed to be inside until the stitches healed. She needs inside anyway she lives by a busy highway. But this is the same girl I turned into the AC because her cat was skinny and had hair missing and she wouldn't take her to the vet. Yes I might be a b**** but if my friend mistreats her animals she gets the ac called on her same as a stranger would. Sorry the animals and kids come first. And I begged dad to let me take in another cat and he says it would ruin Tavia. And make her develop bad habits. This girl has a young tom and her cat is a female and neither is fixed. And I told her to watch the tom carefully around the kittens. I have seen toms kill kittens before. And so she decided she was just going to put this tom outside. And she will be moving so the tom will be outside in an unfamiliar area. And he is a small tom so the other toms in the area will bully him. Why do people get pets if they don't truly love them. She gets mad when they want attention she even gets mad when her kid wants attention. I just don't understand some people.
