I am in need of some suggestions for a cat food that is less harsh and good for a cat that has an irritated stomach and vomits alot. I am going to get her in on Tuesday with the Vet, but until then I would like to pick up a food that is better for older cats with less dye and maybe more of a natural food. Any suggestions?

There are lots of high quality foods available that don't contain colors, preservatives or by-products. Canned foods are preferable to dry because they are closer to what a cat would naturally eat. The high water content is beneficial to a cat's system. Some examples of premium foods are Petguard, Innova, Wellness, and California Natural.

Glad you're taking your kitty to the vet. Hope she'll soon be doing better.

I feed my 7 and a half year old with IBD Eagle Pack Duck and Oatmeal. He gets a canned food only diet with an added probiotic to help with the lower intestinal issues.

WHat is kitty on now???

I recommend canned or raw .... as these are better for digestion and assimilation in the older cat ... I have found chn and beef the easiest on my nearly 18 yr old but try different ones .... My vet has advised me against fish at her age now but said fish is fine for a younger one...
