Hi,

We are looking for two new kittens and would prefer siamese kittens.
Are there any siamese breeders on here?
Also, how much should we be looking at to buy two of them?

Thanks
Lucinda x

I am a Siamese breeder, but I am located in the United States, so probably can't offer you much in the way of assistance. I am happy to answer any Siamese-specific questions you may have though.

I was on a Siamese website in the UK for awhile (have to say it wasn't as great as TCS
). My perception from that site is that you will find only modern style Siamese in the UK. Apparently the Traditional or Applehead Siamese (like Bijou and Mika) are as rare as hens' teeth there.

Oh right. If there are any breeders that live in Buckinghamshire or near it would be useful

May I suggest you find out when cat shows are being held in your area or nearby. Then talk to the siamese breeders at the show for getting on a waiting list.

Are you looking for pet or show?

I am just looking for some kittens to buy. I am not planning on showing them. My mum is really keen on getting a Siamese so we have decided to try and look for some. If not then I wouldn't mind a rescue kitten or any other breed of kitten.

Local Newspapers: Looked at about 3 or 4 throughout the last week or so. Mainly dogs but a few persians which my mum doesn't want.

Shops: Only advertise rescue animals. Can't get up to any big shops at the moment.

Have been on a siamese website which is lovely. She only has one male for sale at the moment. But we are on holiday next week so we can't do anything about it yet

When you say standard do you mean the 'old' siamese, or the newer thiner one's ?

The ones that are currently being shown. I suppose most of them are thinner but if they meet the standard they shouldn't be stick thin.

Did you ask that breeder if they were having any more litters soon?

Keep in mind (no matter what you end up with) if you have opposite sex, get them spayed/neutered young. A male siamese who's only 4-5 months old CAN get a female pregnant. So if the "sister" happens to come into heat at an early age, he can and will breed to her.

Hello!

I have literally only just joined, and notice you are looking for a couple of Siamese kitties? Good choice if I may say so!! I LOVE Siamese cats and have a seal point myself who is just a gem!
Don't know whether you are able to on this forum, but if you would like to PM me I may be able to offer some suggestions about popular websites where you will find reputable breeders' listing their kittens all over the UK.

Take care x

Oooops, sorry, looks like someone has already posted you the ones I was going to suggest above anyway!

Good luck with your search!
