Just curious, with all of these smarty cats out here on the forums, what do you all do for a living?

Me? I am an executive assistant at a large architectural firm in Philly. And I keep busy during the day following the Skittles thread in the pregnancy forum!
Seriously though, I do get my work done 1st...

I work in the Governance Services department for a medical association. Basically, it's my job to help the volunteer doctors who run our organization--our officers, Board of Governors, and House of Delegates--in pretty much whatever way they need help.

I've taught elementary school for 25 years!
I have an Ed.S. Degree in Early Childhood Education and also am certified as a Reading Specialist. I also have a Master's Degree in English with a minor in History and in French.
Most of my work has been done in grades 3-5.
I teach "at risk" children: slow leatners, "crack babies," fetal alcohol syndrome children, and those with learning disabilities.

Wellllllll....

I'm pursuing a bachelor's degree in flute performance/applied music.

In order to pay the bills around here and feed my 3 kitties from 3 different daddies, I babysit for a family 2 afternoons a week and work part time as an adoption counselor at a no-kill rescue for sick and injured stray cats

I'm a special education teacher. I teach ages 9-12, and I work in a separate special education school for children with moderate/severe/profound disabilities. Next school year, I'm getting a younger class, and they will be 2nd and 3rd graders with severe and profound autism and behavioral issues. I'm excited!
