Somebody finally gets whats coming to him! Those stupid should get at least 20. Oh, and have to personally call each employee and apologize for ruining lives and being so greedy.

Has anybody seen Fun with Dick and Jane?

I'm glad they were found guilty too, although September seems quite a ways away for sentencing. Would a blue collar criminal be able to sit at home with his family for 4 months and get his affairs in order? And I agree - they should have call everyone who lost their lives - their jobs, their retirement, their life savings - and take whatever verbal abuse they get. Heck, they'll have some time on their hands in prison.

No, a blue collar criminal would sit in jail for four months and await sentencing. However, Skilling and Lay will undoubtedly be a one of those min. security "spa"-like prisons where you could just walk over a fence and get out. There's one here in Ohio that actually has a golf course on it.
Even though, IMO, what they've done is worse than what some people in max. security prisons have done.

Skilling and Lay should do their time in County. HAHAHAHAHAHA

I am really glad that they were both found guilty. Not even these men are above the law--money sure does show its true colors when you have enough of it--they are guilty and should get the sentence they deserve..regardless of what kind of money they have.

I believe their bank accounts should be emptied (all of them even foreign ones if they have them) and the money should be distributed to all the employees who lost everything. These men should be forced to work as garbage men or whatever other dirty job is out there and their income should go to the families that lost everything. They should be in prision on weekends and holidays and any off time they have including evenings. Better yet make them clean septic tanks!! They belong in the with all the rest of the human waste!!

Let the punishment fit the crime. Would that it were possible!

I think its as close to fitting as were are going to get. The people they took all that money from are egoing to have to work for they rest of their lives to survive. Why shouldn't they have to do the same thing?

I wish their sentences were doubled.

I just want to say a lot of people have the misconception that Republicans are for big businesses with big evil CEOs. I was quite horrified when the Enron scandal happened.

It is so ironic because the day before they went down I went to a Career Fair in my university for engineers. They gave me an Enron T-shirt and a lot of other recruiting stuff I don't even remember. I threw the T-shirt away but now I think about it I should have kept it to show people they were recruiting and pretending everything is alright even on the day before they went down.

I had to drop one of my classes because my professor lost all of his life-savings at Enron and he was simply not teaching afterwards .

On the lighter side, this dude in those videos remind me of Lay and Skiling. It is a very, very good parody.
