We have learned that Bijou and Mika help themselves rather than wake or bother us.I happened to glance into the kitchen the other night and Bijou had jumped on the counter and removed my husband's special 7 grain bread from the breadbasket and put it on the floor for Mika. He then went up on the counter again and was checking the breadbasket to see if there was anything else there he could "nibble" on. Meanwhile Mika sits on the floor just watching him. If I leave half a can of wet food sitting on the back of the sink until they finish the first half, often Bijou will simply pick it up in his teeth and carry it to wherever I'm at to let me know he's ready for it. He never turns it upside down and never spills a drop - what a good kitty!
Seriously, these cats bring tears of joy to our eyes. My husband, daughter and I are totally devoted to them like nothing I've ever seen or experienced before. Every day they bring such total joy and love into our lives and none of us can walk past either of them without loving on them and they seem to love to be loved on.Originally Posted by kittylover4ever
