One thing I hate about having TTP & B is...

going on vacation and leaving them behind. I hate hate hate hate hate leaving them, and then in it's own way kind of ruins my time away. Am I nuts to worry about them so? I know they'll be just fine. I have a trusted friend that comes over everyday to take care of them, but I just think that they're wondering where we are, etc.....

We're leaving for TN on Saturday morning and won't be back until late Tuesday night..........

I obviously don't hate having them.........I guess I just hate that I LOVE them so much..........

I certainly relate, Susie. This is why I never go anywhere unless my girlies will be comfortably accommodated with me.

Oh goodness when I went to Milwaukee for that ONE day I thought I was losing it! I kept calling "kitty kitty kitty" cuz I'm so used to Jacky being there right by my side all the time! It felt strange not having a bundle of fluff curled up next to me as I watch a movie!

Your not alone-I get very "home sick" for all my animals when I am away for any amount of time, and when I call my mom or my friend that cares for them, I always ask 100 times how my cats and dogs are......hehe, its just parental instincts.

I always think of Abby when we are away.

Oh my gosh I get so much anxiety! My Mother comes and spends lots of time with them, but they are my babies!

BTW...where in TN are you headed? That is DH's home state.

I always miss Harley too - I always figure he's enjoying the freedom from us

Aaw I miss them too! I've not been away from them that much really but when I have it's been a killer!
Mark stayed at his parents last night so he could get up early and work on my car so that kits are by themselves all day!! I'm thinking about going home at lunch because I don't want them thinking they have been abandoned!

The girls are always in my head when i go to Gils. Even at bedtime when it's quiet i think of them curled up together Or when my neighbour goes into check on them i imagine Sophie sitting my their bedroom door like she does until i open it but discovers it's not me

Thats why as soon as i get back home, the first thing i do after switching the alarm off is to shout as i'm going up the stairs " Wheres mum's babies!!!! "

I'd really hate to leave my babies! The longest I have been away is one night and my kits were staying with their grandparents, so I knew they were in good hands!

Completely missed them though!

My sister moved to Clarksville...........

I do the same thing. I haven't been away since we found out about my Redford's heart condition. He has to have a pill everyday and I just can't seem to trust anyone to give it to him. I hated leaving them anyway. I have trusted family so I will have to let go soon. My husband wants to take a little break. I think we'll start with just a weekend away.

I felt so sick when i left teufel and kaylee for 10 days at tricias!
But tricia took such good care of them i couldnt have trusted anybody better!

I cancelled on going to my Cousins wedding in june so i could stay home and look after the Bunny and kitties

Silly, you're never alone. We are all nervous cat people!
When Brad and I went to Ohio to be with my sister, all I could think about was my cats.I was so worried about the last time we left them alone ( the a/c went out and by the time we got home it was almost 80 in a closed house and getting hotter, and MIL didn't notice it. YIKES!) for the weekend. I was very nervous and calling every night. Ended up running my cell bill to over $100.00 because of the roaming charges. I didn't care as long as I knew the house was comfortable enough for the kitties and they were safe and sound, I was...ok being so far away. I don't want to do it again soon though. I hate traveling anyway. Maybe when we get an RV so we can take then with us! LOL! I'll have to train them to get into their carriers so they don't get lost at rest stops though. HMMMM.... I don't know if this is a good idea either.

The last time we went away for the weekend we came home early because I was worried about my babies. Thank goodness for such a wonderful BF!

I get that way, too. I was on a business trip last week, so Pat was there with them. It's not too bad then, but I still miss them. We have to take off to Phoenix in a couple days for my FIL's funeral, though, so they have to be left behind. My parents come and feed them and spend some time with them, but I still worry about them. Tailer gets really lonely for us when we're both gone, too. (But he's figured out just how to wrap my Dad around his little paw, so I know he'll get lots of attention.)

Yep, I hate this part too! when I should to leave him.... ( I mean to Mr Loyal Majesty!)....But Always his Grand Mother, ( my Mom) to stay with him and he´s not alone of all!

But certainly is a hard moment! ....
