Oh, his kitty photo looks so pathetic, poor thing looked like he had some eye problems. Well he is all better now and glad he has you for his mommy. A very handsome boy he is!
LOL, I worry about that Fran..........Jerry goes the third Saturday of every August, and that's when he finds these kittens...........I might end up with a dozen this way...............EEEKK!
Bailey, Tiggy and Petals stories are pretty much the same.........
Every year, my husband Jerry volunteers for the Pedal to the Point Bike a thon they have here in Ohio He works EMS for them. They ride thier bikes 75 miles one way, camp out, then 75 miles home the next. (Jerry doesn't ride, he drives the ambulance) To avoid traffic, they take all back country roads. 3 out of the past 4 years, Jerry or a biker has found kitten along side ot the road, sick kittens. The first year it was Petals.......very sick little girl. She was in a ditch trying her hardest to climb/jump out with no luck. Here she is...
The next year, same time ,approx the same place, he finds Tiggy running down the road with his sister Ebony, (adopted by my very good friend) They two were sick.............here he is:
We skipped a year......no kitties!
Then last August, Jerry calls and says, well, found another one!! Bailey was running down the road, headed for God knows where..Jerry called to him and he stopped, although scared.........here he is.......
They were all sick with UTI's, Petals being the worst. I thought we might lose her, but with our wonderful vet and around the clock care from us, she is a beautiful healthy girl today.
Trixie was the only one we picked and she is/was as healthy as a horse!
Thanks for asking!!
