Those little kitty/puppy statues.

You know those little kitty or puppy statues you sometimes see in people's yards? Well I was just wondering..have any of you ever petted one of those before?

I'm guilty of doing that!

Cant say that I have....but I just might!!

I haven't actually petted one, but I have called one until I realized it was just a realisitic looking statue. The owner let me do it until she started giggling and couldn't stop. I felt very silly.

I always pet them , I can't help it they are so cute. I even pet those seeing eye dog statues that are in the grocery store

Guilty of that too!

Except that was an actual REAL dog! My sister and I were waiting for our mom to come back out and we were looking at this dog that was sittin very still and were trying to figure it out if it was real or not..I said "no" and lost 5 bucks on that bet.

There was also a fake realistic looking cat "sleeping" under a coffee table and I thought it was real and went to pet it until i found out I was just petting a fake cat.

I though you meant cat/dog statues made of stone, i pet those as a child thinking they were once real like in Lion Witch and the Wardrobe. I find the ones that have fur quite creepy...
