ticks

Does anybody else have a "over population" with ticks, or is it just me?? Man those things are awful this year, and mosquitos too!! I treat my animals with Frontline but Im beginning to think it doesnt work!! What does everyone else use? Im thinking about switichin to Advantage-anyone know how well it works??

We are experiencing a plague of ticks here this year after a warm wet spring. The two abandoned puppies I took in were covered with them. I use Frontline for the cats and so far I have only found one live one, on Napoleon, which I removed carefully with special tick tweezers. But I have decreased the time between Frontline applications from two to one month to try and be sure. They are nasty things and carry several diseases.
