Mis-reading

Does anyone else mis-read things? There is a thread in care and Grooming that says "Cat hates getting nails" and I keep seeing it as Cat gets hate mail.

I do that alot on and off line. It's always funny to catch yourself and realize what it really said!

I just read this one going, I can't remember a time when I did that....

Then I was looking at the thread titles & came acroos one by KittyLover4Ever that I read as "an old horse I'd like to renovate". It's "an old house I'd like to renovate"! I guess I am guilty of not reading correctly!

I do that all the time, I get to reading way too fast,lol...

Someone posted a thread called "Rat babies" and I mis read it as Bat rabies!

I mis-read things all the time.
There's a Dive shop in Seattle that I thought for the longest time was an adult 'toy' store called Underwear Sports.

The Dive shop is Underwater Sports.

You almost made me choke on my coffee!! Ha ha! "Underwear Sports"??

But yeah, I misread and misHEAR things all the time. I guess I am in speed mode and just mash everything together and by the time I'm through with it it makes no sense, lol.

I am so glad to know I am not the only one! I do it all the time.
I also grab things next to what I want to get. I have ended up with some really strange things in my pantry.

I was on the way to visit my parents with my boyfriend last night. We pulled up at a stoplight and the cross-street was name Viarral Road. My boyfriend started laughing and when I asked him he said,"I thought it said Vaginal Road at first!" He said he was wondering how someone got away with giving a public road such a name when he read it again and realized the correct spelling....lol
