My cat does something weird!

ok so maybe its not weird but i never thought cats licked only dogs...my kitten licks any time he sees skin...or if i yell at home hell climb up to my lips and lick me its almost like hes giving kisses(which i give him all the time) or hes appologizing...is this normal? when dogs lick they like you what does it mean when a cat does it?

we have one cat (the pregnant one) that gives "kisses" often. Not sure why. heheee. The other ones will on occasion but very rare and one NEVER does.

But yup some kitties give kisses and lick you. it may be the salt on your skin? or something smells good. not sure. heheee.

Purring actually can communicate a few different things. It can mean that they are happy and content, or it can signal distress, fear, and anxiety too.

Purring can mean different things in different situiations. Just like a cat to always keep you guessing!!

My cats used to lick and sniff my mouth when they were kittens after I'd eaten something. I guess they eventually got used to the change in smell of my mouth because they just stopped doing it. Kittens are curious.
