Hi, I have a cat harness here but not sure how it goes on. Someone else got it so I don't have any instructions. Its a blue one with two bands connected by two short pieces. I assume the long one goes around the cats belly and the other around the cats neck? The short loop has two sliding adjustments. Yvonne thinks that the two front legs go through part of the front loop but I don't think that is right. I don't see how I could get it on that way.

I hope I discribed it good enough.

Hi again, I got it figured out and put it on Tuffy because he wants to go outside so bad lately. He did real good with the harness and leash, except when he wanted to go into every little hole or under everything.

Also the leash I have is not real long. I think a longer leash and he will do good if we took him camping with us.

That's how it goes on, sounds like the harnesses I have which are really for dogs

I use a retractable leash that extends to around 25 feet, it works well they can roam freely and I can put on the brakes before they get into something they shouldn't.

I tried a harness on Jess and she is fine when she gets used to it but if you put the lead onto the harness she just lays down lol she doesn't really like it

Have you got a picture of it - it might help
Didn't it come with instructions or some sort of picture of it in use??

Here is a picture of the harness. Yvonne also thought that his front legs should go through the 2 holes in the front loop, But I couldn't see how that would work. I had to slide the adjustments way out to fit him so the small openings in the front part are almost closed now anyway. If Tuffy wil pose nice I will try and get a picture with it on him.

That's the same as my harnesses, I also have the smaller hole opened all the way so it's easier to get the cats head through it.

UNSNAP it; put the part that does NOT have a snap over his head. put his LEFT leg though opening on side and put the rest of it under his belly and snap it around on the right side.

That is a small dog harness and it sort of goes to a V in the front. Ben wears this kind as he pulls and soon as I blink an eye jumps fences and this kind won't harm his throat!

and here

That is how I had it on him. The 2 holes I was talking about are the loops the adjustment slides make in the front part. Yvonne thought each of his front legs was to go each of these small loops. I could see right away that wouldn't work.
