drinking glass/cup? It has just dawned on me--I have a whole slew of glasses in my cabinet, but I have a favorite one. Even if its dirty, I will wash it instead of getting a new one out. Its a plain "beer" glass that says "Asheville Pizza and Brewery Company" on it. Nothing special.
Every morning I have to drink out of my President Bush coffee cup--I will not start the day without doing that--its like a good luck charm sorta thing now.

I use the same coffee mug and the same drinking glass every day.

I do wash them of course!

I am a big fan of my buffalo bills plastic beer mug that can fit 3 beers in it. I also use it for water. I think I got it free at a game.

I have favorite mugs: one (two identical ones, actually) for tea, and two different ones I like for coffee. The dishwasher only gets run every other day, so I "need" two favorites.

Yes! I have a particular daytime drinking glass for water, and then a night time glass which I then keep on my bedside table during the night. I have a favorite mug that I use for tea, and then another glass for if I have the occasional mixed drink of some sort. I wash my two water glasses and mug daily. It's great to know I'm not the only one who does this!

Have you ever noticed that sometimes your favorite mug becomes somebody else's? I always have separate mugs for tea and coffee, which means that I use one (for tea) very often at work, but have a separate one for the few times I drink coffee there. Every time I turn around, one of my colleagues is using my coffee mug, although most of them have their own, and there are several "school" mugs. I don't really mind, as long as they wash it thoroughly, but I'd prefer they didn't use it for tea. I don't know why everybody grabs it - it's a plain black mug, with a matte finish.
I drink coffee with milk and artificial sweetener, and tea with lemon or lime juice, which is why I like "separate" cups. There are few things more disgusting than having milk curdle because a cup hasn't been thoroughly washed out.

I'm lucky, I don't have to share since I'm the only one that drinks coffee. God forgive if there ever comes a day that my "future child" begins to pick up on the habit...I may have to introduce them to their own drinking cup.

Anyhoo, yes, I do have one. Silly really...it's a glass one. I'll actually get a little bummed on the weekend mornings if I used it already. For some reason though I always feel like a "Smart & posh" coffee drinker vs. a "anything will do" mug.
There is one that I have that only you musicians would get (zooms right over B's head). This is my second fav:
Two notes are on a staff. One says to the other: "So do you come to this bar often?". Wah-wah-wah...It's cheesy I know.

I have a big glass i really like, it holds about 350 ml and it is still lightweight. It has a design of little blue and red glass dots on it. I went back to the store several times to buy more because I liked this style of glass so much, they don't carry it anymore, my boyfriend broke all of them except two and of the two remaining ones the glass dots are coming off when I wash them, so the design is starting to look a bit poor. Hope they will last a while longer though.

I have a mug that I drink my coffee all day long from. It came from The Cracker Barrel and is white with cobalt blue flowers all over it. I love the way it flanges out at the top...and it is my true favorite, even though it has a chip on the edge of it. I`m so dependant on it that I even take it with me in my suitcase when I go anywhere to stay Guess i`ll have to give up drinking coffee if I ever break it!!

In a state of insanity :)
I had a blue plastic coffee mug that I drank out of for years. It even went on vacation with me.
I even went back for it one time when it was inadvertly left behind. Then one day it disappeared
and I had to acquire another one. This one is a white plastic coffee cup that is only used for my Mountain Dew. This one also goes with me most anywhere but I try to keep a better eye on it and not let disappear on me like the first one did. If I drink anything else then I use a regular glass out of the cabinet.

It's funny, we have 2 cupboards filled with cups, glasses and mugs. I only use one mug (a fat hot chocolate worthy State Farm mug), usually the same small plastic blue cup for oj in the morning, and for dinner I use a Christmas type decorated glass...All three allow for the perfect amount of liquid based on what I'm drinking.

What a weird thing that we all have the same cups we like.
