I have to admit, I was in a hurry when I first posted about DioGee being in labor. But since this board made me feel at ease and I see a lot of friendly people here and we all have something in common ...I decided to become a part of it. I am a stay at home Minnesota mother of 4 children (Brittni will be 11, Levi is 7 1/2, Lexi just turned 4 and McKenzi just turned 2). We now have 3 cats...the mom is DioGee and we haven't named the kittens yet. We also have a 4 yr old Sun Conure named Sully. So in all reality, I have 9 kids (I'm counting my husband as one of them since I take care of him too
). I will be turning 30 in January and have absolutely NO regrets to where I am today. There's a lot of love in this wee little house we have and I'm glad that my family views ME as being the one responsible for it. Being a mother, not only to children but to animals as well, takes a big soft and warm heart and I just fit the criteria so perfectly (which my family is very lucky for as some children aren't so fortunate
). Stress finds its way into my life sometimes numerous times a day and that's when I sit down on the computer for a few minutes, just jump in the bath or just turn on the radio and shake my groove thing. It gets kind of hectic around here but we are all very loving and supportive of each other.

I have a MySpace site which I am on CONSTANTLY because I have met a lot of nice people there. If you wish to check it out and even add me as a friend, feel free to do so at www.myspace.com/stellagirl77 . With all that said, I hope to get to know you guys and eventually know much more than I do now about our current situation. I am SO excited! And also SO proud of my lil mommy DioGee...and she sure knows it!

Hi!

I have 5 cats, and I am a work at home wife. My husband and I don't have any kids. We think our cats are kid enough! I recently found this quote that I like..

"A cat is the ideal baby surrogate, a Peter Pan who never grows up and provides constant satisfaction for our mothering instincts."

-Akif Pirincci and Rolf Degen
Cat Sense (1994)

So I think that we're both mothers, just in different ways

nice to meet you!

I too had a myspace addiction!!! However, they put up these firewalls at work and now I can't get on myspace at all!!! As Stefani Tanner used to say "how rude?!"
So now I'm on TCS all day at work!!! It's just as much fun!!! See you on the forums!!!
