Hello everyone!!
As most know I took Snickers in today and they gave her Revolution to help her for ear mites if in fact thats what is going on. They also gave me some for Stormy to apply myself when I got home, which I did. Although Stormy is a hard one to have sit still.
so when I put it on her it was more to the side of her shoulder blades than the back. So we have caught her licking herself there quite a bit. Will it make her sick?? Im hoping enough soaked in before she discovered she could lick back there.lol
Thanks

It's very hard to get it in the right place sometimes! It's happened with me before, and it did seem to make my Booger feel a lttle yucky for a while, but it didn't last for more than a day. I did ask the vet the first time it happened, and she said it may make them queasy, but it wouldn't do any major harm.

Our cats have managed to lick it a few times and they didn't get sick.

I don't know myself if it will make them sick, but when we do Bijou and Mika, we do it just before bedtime. Mika sleeps with our daughter and Bijou with us so they have no contact overnight to lick each other. By morning it has dried on both of them.

It won't hurt your cat. I work at a veterinary clinic. We've actually had people call in a panic because theyir crazy dog ate the tube of Revolution!

I get mine while they're eating. That way they're too distracted to want to lick it right away. I aim for the back of the neck/shoulder blade area.

It's safe, Revolution was originally tested orally. My vet recommends & doses his own cat under the arm. Some cats will develop a bald spot when it's continually applied between the shoulder blades. My tabby peanut has a bald spot, so now I apply it under their arm pits.
