Update

Willow is doing well, eating so much more, as much as i can feed her, but only a teaspoon at a time, so its slow going hehe.

We spent some time outside today, so i thought i would share two pics.

the first is of Syrin and Fawna, i couldent find them, til i needed a clean shirt ( the kids soaked me)

And then Miss Willow enjoying the 75 + degrees out and loving the sun, she didnt even wanna cuddle which is odd. So she ate her lunch outside with me and the kids, and enjoyed the sun for about a half hour before going back to her bed.

Ill check and see if i have any baby food left, if not ill pick some up as soon as i get a chance to go to the store.

Willow seems to be looking right at you while you are taking the picture so I would think that it was a good sign! Or maybe she just wants the baby to stop crying in the background!

I'm glad to see her doing so well!! I hope the Chicken Baby food helps. I know last summer when my Jordan had a bad URI & wouldn't eat cat food he would eat that. Then when he stoped eating all together it was easy to force feed. Is she eating on her own yet?

I just sat here at work an read this whole thread! (Don't tell my boss)
I just got a kitty last Saturday, he is 8 weeks old. He is more for my mother who is home all day in a wheelchair. As I was reading this, I called her and told her to please be careful when moving in her wheelchair! He seems to move with her as she rolls along, but then I got scared he would fall asleep under the wheelchair.

I am sooooo sooooo happy that Willow is better, before I got to all the updates, I was so sad for you Lina and Willow, but am very happy to see how Willow has progressed! She is adorable, looks a little like mine. What spirit she has!

Ask your vet to give her a neurological check-up her eyes look like she is not quite here. I also would caution you about putting her outside. She needs to stay indoors because she is unable to defend herself should a dog rush in your yard.

You may not appreciate my comments, but I speak strictly from experience. I have been doing bottle babies and health compromised kittens now for over twenty years. Please keep your eye on her, she is no where out of the woods yet. She also needs to eat more. I would start adding BeniBac to her formula because of her injuries her immune system is low.

I have to agree with Hissy, it looks like she is doing much better but a trip to the vet is definitely in order. I would definitely try baby food and you could add a supplement like PDG or BeniBac to it, mix it and syringe feed it. My sick foster wouldn't eat anything except the baby food...and now that she's better she's demanding it!

I only brought her outside because my husband was leaving and i couldent go inside to feed her because my kids were outside, my son is 2 and the boy i watch is 1. They were outside, and if you know kids and 80 degree days, you cant make them go inside for 5 minutes. It dosent work, and i didnt want to delay her feeding any more then i had too.

Other then being irritated at my screaming son today, shes doing well

Does Willow look you in the eye? Does she respond to your voice? Does she seem "there," as someone else said?

I'm happy she's doing so well, but you haven't told us this part yet... so I'm just curious.
More pics are always nice, too! She's such a beauty!

Willow tends to avoid your eyes but if you call her name or make a loud sound near her she will look at you, if you stroke her sides she turns into your hands. If you pet her head she thrusts herself to be petted. If you stroke her back she lifts up like all kitties do. You can move her head to look into her eyes and one puple is slightly larger then the other, but it could be my eyesight too, i wear glasses and that is awefully close to my face shes so tiny.

If i hurt her, then shes hurt, it dosent make her any less special, or any less loved. My husband is a royal terror to animals, he loves to tease them, and he is an utter angel with her. its so sweet to see him 6'4 and 280 lbs, holding her, less then a lb and injured and talking to her.

I cannot take her to a vet again, i cannot afford it for at least 2 months. I put my bank account over 300 dollers in debt to take her the first time, i used my rent money to take her. I have my land lord down my throat, im doing the best i can, im feeding her as much as she will take, every couple of hours FAITHFULLY. Im loving on her, im stimulating her to potty, im doing everything i can think of to take care of her, and if i thought that she was in pain, i would put her out of her misery, but shes not acting like she is. Shes doing well, she really is. So dont think im mean by not taking her back to a vet. i simply do not have ANY money at all. There is NOTHING anywhere. I have maybe 3 dollers in my change jar, and my husband dosent get a paycheck untill the first and we have to cover the overdraw from the first vet visit and then gas.. and rent... sigh...

shes doing ok, she really is, if she wasnt.. i would out a stop to it all.

Willow just chugged her dinner with a vigor i havent seen in a long time, she ate and ate her teaspoon of KMR like she was starving, and its only been 4 hours sence her last lina meal, i think i saw her nursing earlier ( hard to tell it could have been Fawn, they look alike from the top, but im pretty sure fawn was in the laundry basket again.....)

Shes now wandering around on the floor. Yes shes walking
YAY!
