an ice cube in Iowa...
The fact that the momma cat has not rejected her is an excellent sign...if Willow were dying, she would most likely not want anything to do with it, or worse, she could attempt to kill her herself. But mommas know best, and it seems she will be fine. I'm so happy to hear of her progress day-by-day. It will get better for her, and for you!

So thank you
from willow and me

Edit, i just have to say, i am NOT 16, as my husband pointed out. I look like im about 16 in that picture. I am in fact almost 22. Thank you. I just have to say that. hehe.
You do look young for a 22 yr old

Willow is lucky to have a meowmy like you. I'm sure she'll heal just fine & then be a little kitten terror!

When I read this thread last night I started crying. Then as I got to page 5 or 6 or so I was so relieved to hear Willow is still hanging on! Kittens that have the will to live are so resilient! Prayers to Willow for a full recovery and beating the odds!

I woke up this morning & almost instantly thought, I hope Willow is still fighting. So far it all sounds good. Keep up the good work & know what ever happens you have done all you can for her!

no willow isnt nursing off Taz anymore, she isnt using the nurser bottle eather, so im still syringe feeding her, her sisters and brother have moved onto solid food for the most part, but shes behind. Ill get some pictures of the whole crew tonight, when im kid free somewhat, i have extras during the day.

Im just so happy shes doing better, opening her eyes and standing up more, even meowing when poked and proviked. with toddlers all day long, its hard to keep her close by but out of toddler poking range. :/. she will surviive

Oh about hte pain management.
i was told we cant give her anything, because with her being so young, if she didnt feel the pain and something was broken, she might try walking on it, and hurt herself more.
So theres that.

So pleased for you and Willow! Keep up the progress little Willow - you are doing great!

Its amazing in my normal day to day how I think often of Willow. I think this tragic accident is an eye opener to me as a kitten owner, both in the way I watch out for the kittens more now around the house and learn from you as a wonderful caring pet owner Silvermoonmyst.
