I just came across this thread. I can't imagine how hard all of this has been for you. Your doing an awsome job caring for her! I'm sending good healing vibes for little Willow. Youth is one of the best healers in the world. Please keep us posted.

thanks everyone, just a little update, Willow chugged down half a teaspoon of KMR for her dinner at 6 30 tonight, she actually gulped it down rather then me having to rub her throat, but only half a teaspoon, after that it just started to drool back out, so i guess she was full. Tiny tummy.
Thanks for that poem it was beautiful. Im going to make her a page on my website and use that poem with her pictures. When my husband gets back we are going to call his aunt, who is a former vet ( she disagrees with the practices out here so she no longer is a vet in my area) and see what i can do for pain management. The one i saw was incompetaint... course it was early. And i was histerical... i probably missed alot.

Willow is starting to move more, though she still wont open her eyes. I pried them open and cleaned all the goop out, yes nasty goop, it was grey ( going to ask Aunt Vet about that too) But shes moving around a bit, If you jostle her drawer she moves to get comfy, If you stand her up, she shakes like she did when she was learning to walk, then lays down in a ball and curls up and stops moving around. Im taking that as a good sign. Even if she wont open her eyes, which isnt one i know. She responds when you pet her though.

My mom, my stepfather, MIL everyone IRL said she probably woundent make it. I would be better off taking her out back and snapping her neak or out to my MILs and borrowing her 22 and shooting her and getting it over with. To put her out of her misery. I know shes hurting. But shes also in shock, and when you in shock you dont feel the pain so much. So im hoping that she heals as much as she can while in shock and by then, i know what to do for pain.

Shes even sneezing now hehe.

I gave her to taz and she took care of the elimination. At least i think she did. She was licking down there for a while. I know Willow is old for it, but if Taz didnt stimulate her to potty she hasnt sence the accident, and its been 43 hours sence the accident.

Well here are a couple of pictures i took of willow, its a new program i hope they work.

Ill update come morning.

Everyone have a good night.

She's so adorable!! I think you're doing an excellent job caring for her - how lucky is Willow that she has two wonderful mommies tending to her every need?

It sounds to me like she is getting a little stronger all the time and if she isn't making lots of noise or crying I don't know how much pain she is actually in! I don't remember how old she is but I think she is going to make and be just fine so please don't do anything drastic yet!

Willow will overcome this!

Hi there, I just found your thread! The fact that her mummy is taking care of her by washing her and tending to her, is a great sign!

I think cats tend to dis-associate themselves with their baby when they are dying.

Sending prayers for willow the little darling!!

The last picture looks like Willow is praying. It is so sweet and seems like she wants to continue fighting. I am still praying too

I agree that her chances are not good. She is fighting for her life. But it has only been a day! And so long as you are willing to give her time, and attention, there is a good chance that she will live. I agree with your choice to give her that chance.

So long as she does not appear to be suffering, I don't see why you would end it. From what you have said, she is making small amounts of progress. As young as she is, there is no real way of knowing exactly what her injuries might be. If she is simply bruised, she may heal fully.

Remember that it is hard to medicate babies for pain. The sedation from pain control may be enough to lessen her breathing. I hope your aunt is able to check on her soon, so you will have a better picture of what lies ahead for dear Willow.

Willow is doing so much better today. She has actually stood up on her own, Shes also opened her eyes several times, mostly when someone picks her up. im still force feeding her, she dosent seem to want to eat, but im insisting on it. Mom is still taking care of the potty for her and giving her a bath several times a day, whenever i bring her to mom she takes care of her. But mostly i keep willow with me, in a drawer. She dosent seem to mind. She seems to enjoy the attention. Im hoping that within a few weeks she will be as good as new and back to romping with her siblings

So thank you
from willow and me

Edit, i just have to say, i am NOT 16, as my husband pointed out. I look like im about 16 in that picture. I am in fact almost 22. Thank you. I just have to say that. hehe.
