I have VPI http://www.petinsurance.com/ I have not yet had cause to file a claim thankfully but they were recommended by my Vet. I pay 20$ a month for both my cats and they pay 80% of the bills if I file a claim. It has a 50$ deductible. You can also pay extra and get coverage for routine stuff like shots and yearly exams. I didn't do that I just wanted to make sure I could take care of my girls in case of any drastic medical problems. Its worth the 20$ a month for the peace of mind it give me.

The only draw back is that they pay you back after you pay the bill but most of the pet insurance companies I looked at were the same way. Hope this information was helpful.
