Five of my kitties are domestic shorthairs, one is a domestic longhair.

I have four DSH.

I think it's obvious from their pics, but anyway here's the roster:

Zakk- 3 yr old black/ white cow kitty
Rocky- 2 yr old black/white tux
Cookie- 10 mo old orange tabby
Suzie- 10 mo old brown tabby w/ a touch of red

They certainly keep me on my toes! Someday I might like to have a purebred, but not right now- 4 is the max capacity here. I would feel bad buying a cat when I know there are tons that need homes. Anyway, the breeds I think are interesting are ragdolls, siberians, japanese bobtails, and british short hair as well as the scottish fold.

I have 2 DSH, one that is supposed to be part Maine Coon, and one that is supposed to be a Bengal mix. I suspect the vets told me they are mixed breeds to make them more attractive. I guess he didn't realize it didn't matter, they were staying with me anyway. I did find out that there was a Bengal that had gotten out and had a litter of kittens that the owners abandoned when they left town, so it may be possible. The other one is just a cute little fluffy kitten that has some features similar to a MC, like many DLHs.

Do they have to be black to be considered tuxedo? Polly is more gray. If you look very carefully at her gray parts (you can't see this in the picture) she is point colored, which I find very interesting. She was trapped from a feral colony (but very young) so she's 100% moggy (and 100% lovable)

well, since blue is the dilute form of black, i would consider her a tuxie even tho she's not black.
i can't see the 'point' coloration you're referring to, tho - probably because of the size of the pic in your signature. but pointed kittens definitely show up in moggie litters - one of the ferals around my house had a couple a few years ago - she was a brown tabby, but her kittens were blue-points.
