Think they'll solve this disappearance?

There has been so much speculation over the decades as to where Jimmy Hoffa's remains are. Apparently there's a "new" lead:

Jimmy Hoffa wound up in a batch of weiners, a long time ago. As the song says "that's one body that'll never be found".

He's just become such a legend around here. A month or two ago, some guy that was given the death sentence said he "knew" what happened to Hoffa...that the remains were placed in a car then the car was crushed.

I agree with Cindy. Those who killed him would have made sure he wasn't found.

Back in my "bad boy" phase, I knew somebody, who knew sombody, who knew somebody, who........................

The word was that Hoffa's body was dumped into one of the huge meat grinders, at a hotdog processing plant.

Probably one of the sausage factories here in Hamtramk.

Then I wonder - did I eat Hoffa when I was a kid???

I agree. He will never be found. His bocy is long gone and all the evidence has been destroyed if you ask me.

When they were doing the "Breaking News" about the new search, I just had to think, "Why is this news?" I don't think there's any chance of that body being found, ever.

Readership. Viewership. As long as no body is found, there'll always be room for speculation, and another "story".

Ok my question is.... WHO CARES!! The Mob killed him, they will never find the body, and the people who may have had something to do with it are in jail or dead.

I'm not positive, but he may still have a son that is interested in finding out what happened to his dad.

The Hoffa story gets revived here in Detroit every 8=10 years. The recent ones being because of a mob-guy getting put to death in another state and this lead to a bunch of tip offs. I doubt he would be in Milford though. Like everyone else said they made SURE no one would find his body.

Maybe it'll turn out like Deepthroat--someone will start talking when they have one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel...

Well not sure if you have heard this on the news or not.

The FBI decided to tear down the barn on the farm. The owner during the time of the disappearance says that the barn was built in the 1970s.
I just saw on the news that the FBI has come across something suspicious after they tore down the barn and began digging.
Two cadaver dogs were brought in.

Could be a cow though...

I grew up in Michigan, and was still living there when Hoffa disappeared. I think I was about 15 or 16. I grew up in the Bloomfield hills, and Birmingham area for 18yrs, so I was very close to where he disappeared from. I remember the rumor was that he was placed in the concrete foundation under the Renaissance building in Detroit. It was being built at about the same time he disappeared...We will never know....

With the improvement in Forensic Sciences, we can solve anything if we have enough money. Those equipments cost millions.

Of course, there is no statue of limitation for murder Murder in the U.S. doesn't pay. Murders get punished one way or another.

Anyone else hear the joke that when they removed all of Tammy Faye Baker's makeup they found Jimmy Hoffa?

Frankly, I think that there are better things that the government could be spending our tax dollars on than searching for a body that will never be found! How about redirecting that into searching for missing children instead??

What a concept!

Everybody knows somebody who knows somebody who knows somebody who disposed of Jimmy Hoffa. Supposedly he's in the Lakes, or he's in Canada, or he's in the cement in Wrigley Field (why Chicago, who knows!) or he was burnt alive or whatever.

I agree, there probably isn't a body to be found, and as for his son, well, he knows his father's dead, and has gone for a long long time without having a body to bury, so this might just be ripping open old wounds.

The money could be better spent... but you know it wouldn't be. It would just go somewhere else to some other inane quest for good publicity.
