Siezures

I have a cat that is pregnant. Today she had some kind of spell in which her head and her eyes were twitching, and she was just kind of crouched down. Has anyone heard of something like this happening? It kinda scared me. I picked her up and she calmed down pretty quickly after that. She has been fine ever since then.

I don't really know what to tell you on this one, I'm sorry. It could be a seizure, but I'm no vet. In other words, when in doubt, see a vet, especially if you notice this happening again.

Well it hasn't happened again. I have been watching her close. I think it might be because she has been to hot. It has been close to 100 here the last couple of days. She has been doing a lot of laying on the tile floor were it is cool.

Just monitor the situation...if it happens again, I would contact your vet to see if she needs to come in.
