Thanks

Which means I'd better go to work on time and check again when I get home... LOL

I was thinking we should have a 12 step program of some sort for Skittles addiction... but those 12 steps might be kittens

I hope the poor doll doesn't have 12 kittens!
I really hope she only has 6, that would be so much better for her....
I've been living vicariously through Skittles since it's been a while since I had kittens (actually only 3 months LOL)
But I think I need to see about fostering another preggo soon to get my kitten fix.

Yeah, I am desperately waiting to hear about Skittles myself. I was going crazy this morning while Isis was in labor and I told my husband that I wanted to get to my computer to check on Skittles, but the computer is in the living room, and Isis was in the bedroom!LOL

Ok all it is 8:45 here. Is it possable to tell if a cat is just overly happy. She seems like it. I mean she is just curling around my leggs and rolling all over to be pett, even her tummy she is purring and rubbing her head all over my face and sticking her tail where I do not want it
Last night was awful. My son did ok but the other one threw up 1x. Skittles was a freak. but she did go to her nest and she made it the way she wants it for the next few hours. I know I will go insane waiting for her to pop. She is having a hard time walking and geting comfy. but this morning she is like a total lovebug. She is just purring and I think she is smiling....

No I need to I know it. I will get my son. He has to hold the scuff of her neck because she will bite. I am not sure about now cause of her being loving but I dont want to tak a chance.

Ok got it and she was not mad at all. Like I said she is in a super good mood. My son did scuff her but she did great. Her temp is 100
wonder why it went up a smidge yesturday it was 99.9 I think I do beleive it is unaccurate., but like vet said it will at least alert us to a fever so I will use it for that instead of sign for labor.

Body temperatures fluctuate normally by a few tenths of a degree throughout the day, so do thermometers...that slight of a change isnt really even a change, I would say....I think even the positioning of the thermometer could make it fluctuate by a little....your right about making sure there is no fever...the temp thing has been driving me crazy......it goes down to 99.0 and I think yeh..almost time...then it pops back up...it will REALLY DRIVE YOU CRAZY!! But I do have to keep checking since she has been so sick and this is her first day off the antibiotic....

Don't worry too much about her temp momof3 - it can yoyo like crazy. As long as she looks moderately content just leave it be...when I had my first litter, I was going absolutely bonkers taking temps and in the end I gave up and the mom cat had her kittens as easy as you please. BTW, her pregnancy was 65 days...
