If this is your first litter, you should got a doozy to start off with!
First mommy cat yes but I was raised around cats. We had at least 11 one ime cause the neighbor never fixed her cats. We took the ones she would not get ride of. We also fixed like 5 of the momma cats for her... Skittles is not the first cat just the first prego cat...

I live like 5 steps from the park and I have a B-day party to go to but I will be checking on Skittles every 2 hours and if she goes in to labor my mom said to leave the boys with her and deal with skittles.... I hope she goes tonight. Dr Clark said she is ready to pop and nice and hard cause they are ready and so many...I am going to leave her be to relax because she is pissed and was stressed out. She will no longer let me touch her belly unless a nipple is not there so I take it they are tender
Yes she is bald around the nipples. I had to ask him if it was just me. She does have a arch in her back from the weight of the babies. He said not to worry unless Monday gets here and we will go from there.

I am hoping the house being dark and quiet she will feel good having the babies. I am not sure if she can actually keep herself from going in to labor.

I did she paces I noticed alot and movers from place to place. The Doc said it is normal she is nervous or just uncomfortable and by looking at her she has to be uncomfortable.

I read somewhere that cats can purr when they are uncomfortable or in pain not just when they are happy and content.

Oh well I guess I was wrong about them being born on Rocket's birthday. Birthday Boy is nuts on catnip right now from his birthday present (a catnip wire ball) that I found his old catnip ball in his litterbox. Wonder what he's trying to tell me?
