Also forgot to add..once they come and you can better judge your need for kmr go online and order it-they have bigger sizes-28 oz and 5LB containers. I have never ordered but upco.com has the 5 lb for $55 a can. I know upco is supposed to be good with its free shiping if over 75 and no min orders. There are many other online suppliers..just have upco catalog in front of me.

I think I might just do that thank you... I have gone thru 4 cans while she has been pregnant I plan to go thru more while nursing because she will need it and might eat more.... I amlso sprinkled it over her dry food but she hated that... I just mix it with half the wet then when done add the other half and she loves it

Lisa-lol at learing experience...I handraised a dumped litter so wasn't worried one bit about that aspect of it but it was first birth...I was so interested in that. Then I was like hmm whats the redish meat looking thing? Had no time to think tho because Misty refused to break sac so I was busy getting kitten out(boy those sacs are tougher then I thought) then I realized the what the things Saw were

Was giving kmr to Misty also...but I had to be careful-to much while pregnant seemed to give her smelly loose stool. When the kittens were only nursing she could have as much as she wanted no problem but now that they are semi weaned shes gassy again(as I call it SBS-stinky butt syndrome)

Maybe she just doesn't want to have to deal with them after they are born? I mean, I would hate to have 9+ kids at once....maybe she figures if she keeps them in forever, she never has to deal with screaming hungry babies?

Well, as my previous bit there shows, I am dead tired. Good night Skittles & Jenny. Hope your leg doesn't give you too much trouble & I hope Skittles pops soon!

My theory is Misty got used to her 3 week pampering(was owned but then dumped when she was older-used to be a cared for kitten witha little collar on and was in good shape then came to me pregnant and sorta thin/no collar) It's a long story but guy down street has many cats but never spays-ya one of THOSE situations where he has many litters. Anyway she just thought her job was to push and get em' out I'd do rest. Hey I gave her unlimited food/water/treats and bought her a bed. And yes she was right-I did the job-broke sacs, got them breathing and cut cords...then gave them to her to nurse(well thank god she did that

Think it's because she didnt have as many needing the support then...that or sensitive system due to not eating right.RJ

HEHE After birth I slept upstairs(walkup attic) with her figuring I can grab hour sleep then move them into cage(they were in a rubbermaid tote with no top) I wake up and shes walking around. So caged her-apparently she didn't think much of cage as she grabs her only boy-Rusty and paces with him in mouth. I was like Misty put him back in the box and then put her in cage. RJ

I had all the supplies ready in case I needed to cut the cords, I'm glad I didn't not sure I could stomach doing it.

LOL LOL I had a "in case I need it" supply-a bottle from the litter I handraised 3 years ago(The 3 who made it just had thier birthday may 21 WOOHOO) and also had some powder and cotton balls(DO you KNOW how many cotton balls a hand raised litter takes OMG the store must of thought I was nuts 3 years ago-buying 5 bags at a time). I always said its cause the daddy had the same markings she'd pick him up first two weeks if I tried somethign she didn't like(oh like cleaning cage or litter box lol) One of the males I'm now trying to trap has GOT to be the dad-same exact patterns as HER Rusty.
