*laugh* Okay, I'll do it as soon as I can find the tool I need to download the pictures I already have on the camera... then we can go for a walk!

I do have to warn you though, eastern Montana looks very different from western Montana. We've got lots of trees and mountains here (I'm in Missoula) and it's pretty much flat and prairie on the east side!

Beautiful pictures! what a great place live in!
I don't really walk anywhere around here. No time really. But I can drive places sometime and take pics for you. It'll be awhile though. Or maybe I can just take some around my house for ya! I have a few minutes between loads of laundry and cleaning to do that. (if you want that is)

Funny you should say that, Lei. Yesterday afternoon, I walked out to my car with a member of faculty (a 70-something theologian) who, having remarked on the loveliness of the day, said, "You know, if heaven isn't like this, I'm not going." I had to agree.

If Mother Nature cooperates, I'll bring back another taste from our trip to Vancouver Island over the weekend. The ferry trip is stunning, and Victoria is not half bad, either. Particularly, my mother-in-law's garden, which should be a riot of rhododendrons right about now. They're threatening a change in the weather, though, so it may not be favourable for picture taking. We'll see.

They promised/threatened grey and rain all weekend, and so it was in Vancouver, but it took a little longer to hit the Island. So we set out in grey and rainy, and never expected to get anything decent in the way of pics on the ferry. By the time I realized that pics would be a possibilty, retrieving the camera and getting into position wasn't really an option. So some other time, I guess. Here is an older shot, one of my faves, actually, just to give you a taste...

MIL's rhodos were past their prime (Mother's Day is about their peak), but the garden still offered some pleasant stuff...

Closeup of the blooms Rob was inspecting...

And here's the view we had at breakfast on Sunday...

Essentially the same shot, six hours later, when the rain was starting to set in...

...and at breakfast on Monday, when it was well established and the fog was rolling in over the bay...

I find the changing weather conditions fascinating.
