Is it common for kittens to have an increase in their appetites around 7 months of age. I have noticed that my little Kiki's appetite has increased. She is eating more hard food, which I keep out at all times. She is also eating more soft food. I give her soft food two times a day. Thanks

It could just be that your baby is growing and using more energy. When is the last vet visit she had? If you are unsure or the didn't worm her, I would get a fecal done to make sure she doesn't have any intestinal parasites.

Our last vet visit was at the end of March. That visit was to check her after getting her spayed. I did call the vet late this afternoon just to check with him, since I am just a little over protective. He said that it sounds normal to him. She has hit a big growth sprut this past month. She has always been tiny for her age, but I think she is doing some catching up now. The vet told me to keep an eye on the litter box for anything abnormal. So far her behavior is normal for her, very hyper.
She is always on the go. She keeps me very busy. Thanks for the response and info.

They did worm her on her first vet visit. They also checked her poo for parasites two weeks later.
