Jen .... that is so true in follwoing JJs lead in being relaxed. When my kitties went to their first vet visit as kittens they were just treated horribly, setting the carrier right next to a big dog, which freaked them out .... they sprayed my kitties with feliaway and then told me they were feral
..... I took them out of there !!!! I waited a few days to go to another vet since they were so shaken up. And at the new vet, they were just the same adorable kitties they were at home .... they have always treated my kitties very well, going out of their way to do for them
And my kitties in return try their best to be good for the vet ......... if JJ is comfortable thats what matters. JJ is a sweet cat. The way he has adjusted to all of this. Going from an outside kitty to a trusting inside kitty. All will be fine. And you know there are alot of prayers going up for you and for JJ.

Jenn, I agree with the others that you're taking the right approach in following JJ's lead. You have such a way with cats! With all the vibes and prayers coming his way, he's going to come through this just fine. Thinking of you and JJ!

Thank you Pam , Elly and XO......... Hubby is home now and he is as relaxed as can be. He went and met Doctor Henry last week and hubby feels very confident and assured right now.

And I feel better too. Maybe JJ is sending me calming vibes....... He probalby knew his mommy was nervous....

Ooh wow he is losing his leg!?? Thats kinda sad but in a way he will be able to get about more.. and animals don't have the same kind of hang-ups as human folk.

JJ has been in my/our thoughts ..and i haven't been here in awhile as i had a setback with the runt of the two kittens i am now ruled by lol. For some strange reason his hind legs packed up... and for weeks he looked like he'd come good and then fall back in a heap again.. i had countless visits to the vet.. and gave up on the vet when he suggested some horrid rare disease.

My lil one has now bounced back but the day his hind legs started to work well he was limping on a front leg!! OH MY GOD lol.. thats all good now though and hes climbing his sisters tower that i bought them (spoilt) and all is good & well.. (i was very unhappy when he couldnt walk and couldnt bear to bring the forums down with more dramas from my twins).

We got high speed internet today ill post some pics of my babies soon..

Our thoughts are with JJ.. My guess is he will be fine though

I am so glad he came through the surgery fine. Following this has been almost like it were one of my own cats so I can only imagine what it has been like for you.

WELL, THIS IS HARD RIGHT NOW. I am glad he is okay but it is very very sad..... He is my little JJ man and lost his leg.. Poor little kitty...... I know he will be fine but I just want to RAGE at the injustice of it all. That dumb F. who hurt him, be it my neighbor or someone in a car should just be horsewhipped. Whoever did this KNOWS they hurt an animal.....and left them that way. and it's just horrible. Can you just imagine doing that? There are so many things that happen like this. Another thread I have been following is about some kittens left in a plasic bag to drown. Luckily a girls father found them. That is a sick person as well. We live in a perverted sick society filled with people who hurt children, animals and the elderly AND FIND IT AMUSING...

JJ will go forward and have a good life, but it sickens me when I think of it........ Just makes my blood boil ! But most are not as lucky as my JJ.

Oh what good news. JJ a whole new chapter of your life is ahead of you, and it promises to be a wonderful one with your new family.

HUGS JENN & JJ

And whoever did it will get what's coming to them...Bad Karma (especially to animals and children) always catches up with you!
