Decorating....

As you all know, we just got a new house a little over a week ago. I am having SO much fun decorating it!
Look what I just bought for the bedroom! I think it's going to be SO nice when I get done. I have always wanted a canopy bed but since I can't afford one right now, this is the closest I will get

Which colour did you choose?

I got the black one. Our bedroom is done in oak, navy blue and black. The blue one would make the blue stand out more then what I wanted it to do.

I got something like that too, only it's just a canopy, it doesn't go all the way around. Very cool!

I like the look of those, but they make me claustrophobic!
I still want a canopy bed though! It's gotta be the princess thing.. lol.
So, I have some sheer white material, and I want to cut out a large piece of it, and drape it over two dowel rods and then hang the rods over my bed with antiqued chain.
I doubt it will ever happen though..
