Hey guys!! Today when I went to get Chloe(relieve her from the babies, lol) I noticed that she has had some *major* diareaha(sp?) and shes also gagging, and spitting up clear stuff. I called and talked to the vet about it and she said of course they can make an appt to do all sorts of tests and such, or I can take them a stool sample. I noticed that shes sooo thin too, I mean yeah its to be expected since she is nursing, but to me she looks TOO thin, and I mentioned all this to the vet and she said it was up to me basically. So does anyone have any insight about maybe what could be going on?? Any advice is greatly needed. Thanks guys.

She probably has worms, depending on how old the babies are I would probably take her in.

Take her to the vet and get her some subcutaneous fluids at the very least. A stool sample probably isn't a bad idea either. And a full blood panel.
She could become severely dehydrated within hours, esp since she's nursing, and the subcu fluids will help her feel better so she can fight off whatever is wrong.
You know in your instinct that something is wrong with poor Chloe, so follow that instinct.

Zissou had the same symptoms after her spay. I think she picked up something at the vet where it was done, but luckily she got better before we had to test for everything. She puked up foamy stuff, had terrible uncontrollable diahrrea, etc. She got the subcu fluids and also some anti-nausea medicine (a shot and then pills for later) and it was a miracle how fast she turned around.

Thanks guys.
Yeah I think I will at least get them a stool sample-and see if they can determine anything from that. I feel so bad for her, she just looks so sad.

The same thing happened to Trout, and the fluids fixed her right up followed by some anti-nausea/anti diarrhea meds. She was perfectly normal after being on the IV.
