Do you remember the series, Grizzley Adams?

We're having a silly discussion here...........was the bear in Grizzley Adams real or fake? I say it was real............ Tamed and trained, but real.........

The show sounds familiar...what year did it run?

Yup, real bear. That was my favorite show at the time.

Yup, real bear. I got to see the bear in a zoo a few years after the show ended. He had the biggest area of any of the animals there. (I think it was at the Omaha zoo, but I could be wrong.) And we were so excited because we LOVED that show!

Are you sure the bear was Ben? I remember the other show, Gentle Ben about a "pet" bear. But I do seem to remember that Grizzly Adams' bear was named Ben, too. Maybe that is why I named ds Ben, because I want him to grow up to be a cuddly bear!
