Tuesday Daily Thread

Hey Guys,

I thought I'd start this day's thread. I'm up early because I have a flight to catch at 6am, but I have to be to the airport by 4:30am. I'm going to be gone to New Mexico for 8 days. I'm so excited. I'm just finishing packing a few last minute things. I'm going to miss TCS while I'm gone

but I think I will have fun, so talk to yah all when I get back.

Well it's gray and miserable here...Doesn't match my mood though, I'm pretty happy today. I'm off on Friday as Mark has his last exam and we are going out with everyone from his course at 12pm when the exam finishes

I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow afternoon and then going to buy me a little something to wear for Friday on Thursday after work so I'm all excited! I haven't been out much at all while these cumbersome exams have been going on and I wasn't even the one sitting them

Well Tuesday is almost over here. I have the flu and feel like crap. I shouldn't be going to school but I'm delivering a very important speech this week so I'm there. I'm sleeping in tomorrow since it's Wednesday and after school I have work.

On Friday I'm off to Taranaki for a big cat show!!

Well, I'm feeling ill too (sympathy for you, Sam!) so I'm going to play it by ear and see how much work I can manage to do! Really need to get the the vets for some toothpaste though!

Apparently the weather is going to clear up here, so we should get some sun! Hoorah!

well its 10:45 am, Teufel woke me up at 9 am, we cuddled a bit then i got up at 9:30, the kitchen is in a disaster and spent pretty much the past hour cleaning it, two more pots to do and then wash the floor and im done!

Kaylee, Teufel and Bunny are off to the vet this afternoon so i hope all is good!

Good Tuesday morning everyone!!, It's just a little bit after 7am, Reilly needed hugs and kisses so he woke me up.

It's dull and dreary here today too, supposed to rain all day.

I'm going to be going into work for the next 3 days and on the drive there I plan on stopping by one of the local schools to drop off a resume. I sure hope I can find something closer, I hate the 2 hour drive

Anyways, have fun on your trip to NM Kallie, and I hope everyone is feeling better soon!

It's crappy weather here again and will stay this way through monday (BLAH!).
I think I'm actually prepared for tonights class. I'm going over what their final project is going to be and may tweak it.

All the cats were crazy this morning. Both Luna and Whitey were hyper, but Luna didn't want to be hyper WITH Whitey. So there was some hissing and growling going on. Finally I told them to just get over it.

Good morning! I feel good this morning - I got to sleep til 715AM instead of getting up at 6AM!

Good news - John's mom's cat had her kittens last night!

Not sure on how many or how it all went - his brother called at 11PM last night while we were in bed & left a message saying that she was having them.
Hopefully tonight I'll have pictures and a good update on our new little kitty member of the family!

Oh Mackenzie that is so exciting! I loved bringing both of mind home as kittens and the anticipation of bringing them home is unbearable!
So in a few weeks Harley boy is going to have a little brother or sister! Good for him

I'm really excited! I just hope the labor and delivery went okay, we haven't heard from his brother yet this morning

I just hope Harley adjusts okay - I'm going to be spending A LOT of time in the behaviour forum I think!

Yea, we threw out his bus ticket. We just liked his personality so much that we would say "Let's give him one more week and see what happens". One more week turned into another week of trial and basically after the 7 weeks he is better. This morning was the first time he was crazy-hyper.

Besides it's hard to stay mad at him when you're scolding him and he does a somersault roll onto his back and shows his belly.

All I can say after spending 7 weeks there, it's all about being the dominate one! Just remember that!

Honestly he'll be fine, I was so worried too before we got Nismo about how Sleeves would feel, having been the top cat around. But he loves her, you've seen how much he loves her!
Just make sure you take a few days off, or get him/her on a weekend so you are there to supervise. There will be fighting etc, and sometimes it can be upsetting but they break through it.

Isn't that cute?? Toulouse does the same thing... it's really hard to keep scolding when you just want to reach down and rub that furry tummy!!

I'm planning on cleaning house today, having lunch with Eli, meeting another friend after that, and then working on a couple of projects.

Captain really wants to go outside, but our neighbors were spraying their grass yesterday and I don't want him to go walking in it.

Today I'm home with pain from a car accident last night. (in Monday's thread) I have my furry family, TV, TCS and a nice banana split for company!

It's actually NOT raining here for the first time in awhile. But I have to work ( shocking isn't it?) so I don't get to enjoy it.

oh well, those of you who are not sick or injured can enjoy it for me!
Mackenzie enjoy your new kitten!(we all know you'll be getting one. Who can resist a kittens face??) LOL! I hope we have pictures soon! (hint hint!) If I were closer I'd have a peek at them and maybe one myself!!

I'm feeling a bit better this morning. Nose not as runny and chest not as tight. I'm going to walk to school for the first time this week. I think I'm feeling up to it.

It's aout 7:30am here and I'm just relaxing before I get ready for school. I don't have to leave until 9am!
