I've never been around female cats before and since last Wednesday, there's been a cat wandering around at night and meowing loudly. It kept me up most of the night and when I heard her again, I went to the window and there she was. Meowing and wondering around like she was lost or something. I tried calling to her but she ran away. She was the same size as Rascal and orange too, but her coloring was more tan. I wanted to see if she was hurt or something. I don't know if she is a female but I was wondering, do female cats cry like that when they are in heat? She's been hanging around my window and she has seen Rascal. Of course, Rascal can't help her if she is in heat. I wanted to capture her and send out a found sign to see if anyone owned her. I'd probably keep her and have her spayed. She hasn't come today so maybe she had Tom ease her discomfort. I will try and look out for her and maybe win her trust. I am calling her a her.
