Oh my gosh, I know!
I can't believe what Izzy is doing.
I knew from the beginning when they were talking about the gunman getting away, that he would probably come to the hospital, but I kinda forgot about it and when it happened at the end, it really caught me by surprise.

I read a while ago that one of the interns wasn't going to make it through the program, and I wasn't sure if it was Izzy or Alex since Alex has managed to anger all of the attendings. Now I think it's pretty well guaranteed that it's Izzy.
Yeah,as much as I love Izzy, I think she's pretty much lost it. If this were in real-life, she'd be getting charged for some pretty massive crimes, nevermind her job!
having done what she did there at the end, with the probable result since Burke is out of commission, i don't think Izzy will be able to handle the guilt of Denny dying because of her actions & desires. [i'm assuming he will due to the circumstances] she doesn't have the faith or wisdom to be able to deal with her emotions - look at the craziness of her basically 'forcing' him to do things her way. if she truly loved him, she'd have respected his wishes, not forced her own needs on him.
OMG I am so excited for the finale tonight! Izzy is going NUTS.
What is kind of sad about that, is they have been revealing more sides to Izzy and her personality and background, so we've all gotten to know her better. If she's the one, it will be sad to see her go, but yeah, it seems as if she's off the deep end.

Ooooohhhhh...My co-worker who watches the show threw out an interesting theory. He's thought that Izzy and Burke would be off the show at some point, and with Burke being shot - what if he ends up being a perfect heart match for Denny?!?!
well, but who's gonna put it in? & keep Denny alive until then? i guess we'll find out in a few hours!
Now comes the hard part - waiting until September!

Ya know, I really, really like Addison. I didn't before, but now I really do. I'm also beginning to hate Alex a LITTLE less...but am nonetheless sad that 2 of my favorite characters are gone

So who else was bawling
when Doc was PTS and when Izzy was laying with Denny? I was really hoping that Izzy would get her happy-ever-after with Denny and that would be why she would quit the program.
I think Addison would be a fool to stay when she knows what is going on.

I was reading a few things on EW.com this morning (their TV Watch section has great recaps of shows btw)
Anyway, one speculation is that Addison will be pregnant next season, so that's why Derek will stay with her, the other is that Meridith will be pregnant.
One thing I read that I do think would have been interesting is if they would have ended the season after Sunday night's episode and left last night's episode as the opener for next season. I think leaving Burke on the ground and Denny in critical condition would have been an excellent cliff hanger.
I was sad to see Denny die.
What about Callie - I don't really care much for her character.

Denny, if i'm not mistaken, is also the father on Supernatural - maybe his role is being extended on that show? i wish he'd've made it, too - i was so happy for him!
i know if i were Addison, i'd leave. that must be an incredibly uncomfortable situation. i can't believe Derek can lie to himself so well - he had a choice & obviously didn't make the right one for him. i think if he was going to choose Addison, they should've left for another hospital - if i'd been her, i think i would've insisted on it. no point in intentionally being tempted to stray!
ok so I didn't even cry that hard when Friends ended! That is the saddest episode. I cannot believe that Denny died. He was soooo good to Izzy. I think she will come back though. I don't think she will stay away. And I BAWLED when Doc was put to sleep

well, Izzy didn't say she wasn't cut out to be a doctor, just not a surgeon. i'm thinking she might still be in the show, but change her specialty or do a residency as a GP or something...Originally Posted by Oscarsmommy

I love the show but have missed so many episodes - thanks to work!
Anyway, I wanted to buy the first season dvd - but I only noticed that it only shows 9 episodes - was the first season really that short? Or is it just part of it. Those who have the first season or have seen it, can you let me know?

Yup, there really were only 9 episodes in Season 1. The show started mid-season. The DVD set is from the first episode when they all arrive at the hospital to when Addison shows up.
