Problems with Cats - Fellow Cat Owners Help

Hello,

Maybe someone else has had this problem. My two cats seem to have scabs on their bodies.. one more than the other. And losing fur. Is this a serious problem? Or May know what this could be... Thanks for any replies!

Hi kim, it could be ringworm...? but i dont think that scabs... Wait a bit for some answers, there are some pretty knowledgeable people on this site...J

Could also be flea allergies or a few other things. It's best to get your kitty to a vet for diagnosis and the right meds.

Take them to a vet. Sounds suspiciously like a flea allergy/infestation, but as it is over the internet, a vet is the best way to know for sure. Do not try to treat anything with over-the-counter medications, as they are fairly dangerous.

How long is it since you noticed? Sometimes ticks can look and feel like scabs for a few days before they start to swell.
