Hello, thought I would introduce myself to all you feline lovers.

My name is Tim and i'm from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. (yes we do have running water and electricity.) I have a g/f named Jackie. I work for a cable company which I install cable, internet, and phone services. I got my first cat 2 years ago when she was 3 months old. Her name is Kitty (I know, how original). We just got our 2nd kitten and it is proving to be a challenge with our princess which for some reasons thinks she runs this place. :p His name is Noah... Ummm yup. so if anyone has any questions for me, about South Dakota, technology, or just in general, just ask.

Hi Tim & Welcome! I have got to tell you, I love visiting Sioux Falls. You have an awesome mall. I've been told I MUST visit the SF Humane Society. I'm in southern MN, along Interstate 90, so I'm not that far from you(1 1/2 hours, maybe?).

Hiyas (I'm slow about the new intro posts
)

I have family from SD, beautiful state, I always enjoyed the night-time light shows that nature provides out in the badlands.

Welcome to TCS!

Welcome to the site!
We are so glad you have joined us. It is so nice to know that I have someone I can ask questions to when the hold time exceeds 20 minutes with my local cable provider

Hi! I imagine that there are Sioux Indians near Sioux Falls... that is part of my heritage...I am part Sioux Indian, part Cherokee Indian, part German, and part Irish.

First thing to learn about your Princess, not only does she think that she runs the house, she knows that she does
Seriously though, you might find lots of helpful threads about introducing a new cat into the household in the Behaviour forum. Good luck

So far the transition is going fine.. they are still seperated, but starting today (day 5 of Noah being home) we opened the door. Kitty did hiss and growl, but no flat ears, arched back or anything.. She did paw at Noah and hit him in the face and the side, no open claws, Noah was sooo brave, he took the two his then just backed away.. Kitty did kinda lunge at him, but it was o.k. I dont think we'll open the door tomorrow cuz Kitty is going to the vet to get spay and also to get her updated vacs and a checkup.
Wish her luck.
