Gosh we only got another 1/2 inch today!!! Total since Thursday is a bit over 3 inches!!!
I was to start my big commercial landscaping project tomorrow. Key word -WAS
I have hundreds and hundreds dollars worth of shrubs and perennials for clients in my yard-that I paid for and have not been paid by clients!!! EEK!!
No installation work = no $$$!!!
Have to get more shrubs tomorrow but I think I will start potting up clients containers as I can do that inside my garden shed and the greenhouse lets me buy the plants on credit!!!
This weather front will be stalled in Wisconsin for most of the week!!!
Then my plant sale is Saturday and I would like to pot up another 50-75 plants plus some for clients yet too!!!
The joys of working outside!!! But I did see a new client on rainy Friday morning for a two job to start in June!!

Oh Gail!
It will stop raining eventually, I promise. We have the same weather system to your southeast here in Ohio. I managed to get our lawn mowed today in between the rain drops. The weather man says it'll be stalled over us all week. We need the rain but enough is enough.......I want some sunshine!

NO, it's not going to stop raining any time soon!!!!!!!! We have major floods here in New England. Some areas have already received 10+ inches of rain. I don't think I have seen the sun since Tuesday, and I'm really not sure when I will see it again!!!

Rain says she does not want to go away and is hurt you are yelling at her!
J/K...I know, I am so sick of the rain. Have you ever seen that movie where it's only sunny like one hour out of the year or something and these kids shoved this little girl in the closet and she didn't get to see it? That's what I thought of today when we had like 15 minutes of sunlight!

Sounds like a fun movie!

Yep, rain here off and on all week. Thunderstorms too. I have to be out in the weather like Gail, but I've yet to buy some summerweight raingear. Last week it was rainy and I wore my snowpants! Luckily, it wasn't very warm either.

Oh yes, the rain sucks!! Around here they say we need it because it hasn't rained in a while..but now it's been dreary for the past few days and I'm SICK of it.. It makes everything so much more blah.

GailC, I hope it stops raining where you live so you can work in nice weather again

I agree! I just bought plants this weekend and want to work in the yard. Can't though because it's goign to rain all the way until Friday here (and stay below 65 degrees)

I know we do need it to help get spring started....still though. We just got out of Winter and now we get a full week and a half of rain???

I can feel your pain, Karen...I'm less than a quarter mile from Peabody Square, and they've been showing it on the national news. One of my coworkers is in Salem, NH sandbagging around his house and waiting for an evac order...this just isn't funny anymore!

Over 12 inches of rain in Salem MA as of 11 pm last night...

You've got me beat.
I'm in Southeastern Mass. We've had a lot, but haven't hit that yet. We are supposed to get 3 inches tomorrow morning!

I just checked where that is. She is in an area that got quite a bit of rain, but I don't think they were evacuating where she is.
